C.O.R.E. Methods School Based Behavioral Supports

Students with emotional/behavioral challenges can work toward their highest potential within trusting, structured, safe environments where they can develop skills and a strong sense of security, a positive attitude toward learning, as well as insight and emotional understanding toward appropriate behaviors. C.O.R.E. utilizes the Nurtured Heart Approach in our positive reinforcement techniques along with the Appreciative Inquiry and Video Self-Modeling Program. This is a technique that C.O.R.E. created and that garnished a 92% increase in positive behaviors in the final trial. Due to the success of this approach it will be presented at the PAC Rim International Conference on Disabilities; all staff are trained in this technique.
