download (4)CORE only hires and retains Staff that have clean driving records and are able to take a drug test at any point if prompted. We are working with students who need great role models that are focused on them and are completely with them, mind and body. All CORE Staff are willing to take courses or training to better themselves, in turn bettering our students we serve. We also hire Staff that are willing to grow, everyone grows in this company because we are working on making the experiences for the students the best. In order to provide the best services we must train and educate ourselves. We have Staff training that are required for everyone to attend.


What we are looking for:

  • Someone able to assist students in prescribed learning activities, daily life skills and vocational skills.
  • Monitor, observe and report/document behavioral data of students.
  • Assist student by providing appropriate modeling, emotional support, and general guidance.
  • Support the challenge and motivation of students, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem.
  • Staff must be capable of learning and safely implementing approved techniques (such as Mandt we will train.)
  • Must be able to work independently and as a group.
  • Staff must be organized and able to track data.
  • This position is part time hours no benefits.

About C.O.R.E Vocational Services

kid and staffOur goal at C.O.R.E. is for those we serve to achieve the highest level of independence possible . That may mean developing natural supports in the community, finding paid employment, assisting with identifying recreational opportunities. We can also assist with completing forms and training on how to create budgets, and develop skills for independent living.


What We Believe?

We provide a significant amount of 1:1 support to start to assess what the needs, abilities, and interests of the student are. Our goal is that the student would be as independent as possible by the time they no longer use our services. We do this by assisting with setting up tours, job shadows, internships and volunteer opportunities. We assist those we serve by helping to create a network of support as well as decreasing support over time. We use long term goals (often time path planning) to assess what will be needed over time and develop plans of routinized training to learn skills.


Qualifications

Our staff are all licensed to drive through Pupil Transport of NH, we can transport students legally. All staff also receive Mandt training, Nurtured Heart Approach, Appreciative Inquiry through Video Self Modeling, and Collaborative and Proactive Systems instruction and continually participate in vocational training throughout New Hampshire. 90 percent of staff hold ACRE certifications.
